“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” —John 15:7 (ESV)
I love you! Please hang in there, My child. You’ve had a rough few days as this trial of yours unfolds and continues to mentally attack you. I’ve noticed that at the same time you’ve gotten away from being in My Word and going for walks. You’re still praying to Me, but you’re not hearing Me as clear as you used to. When you’re not hearing Me, you start to ruminate on the worst possible outcomes of your trial. And this is causing you to be anxious beyond concern. It’s no coincidence that you’re struggling as of late. This trial isn’t done. Your faith is still being tested to persevere with Me. My child, I need you to be fully in My Presence to combat the mental toll of your trial. More than talking to Me through prayer; please listen to Me by reading My Word on a daily basis. Also, go for those daily walks—it helps you digest what you’ve read in My Word. My child, I’m not discounting your pain & hurt. It’s very real, I know. I hurt when you hurt. But you need to know that the Enemy has his sights set on you. He sees you falling into the drunkenness of your emotion from this trial. He sees you’re being distracted and looking less to Me. This is when he seeks to devour you! He can’t have your soul as you are My child; but he will always try to discourage your spirit to needless worry and anxiety. And he won’t stop. He is relentless like a lion attacking his prey. He doesn’t want you & I in communion. He hates Me and he definitely hates My children. But you don’t need to fight him. Just stay fully in My Presence in prayer and My Word, and I’ll take care of everything…I promise, okay? I love you, My child!
“because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” —James 1:3-4
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” —1 Peter 5:8
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.” —Proverbs 12:25 (ESV)
Excellent message James, you are a gifted writer, The ultimate test of love is praising the Lord in the middle of the storm. This has to drive the enemy crazy. Goal, drive the enemy insane with praise to the Lord in all situations, both good and bad. The constant is Jesus, He never lies or changes, Our central perspective is our eyes on Him, the author of Life, Love and everything on earth and eternal,
