“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” —Psalm 37:4
I love you, My child! You’ve had a good couple days. It brings Me joy to see you have these days in the midst of a heart-breaking trial. The source of your joy is Me! You know this, but sometimes you forget. When you are in sync with Me, and I with you, the things you ask for are less about you, and more for My glory. You already know from long experience that if you ask and don’t receive from Me, it’s because you’re putting yourself first. But that’s not the case with you & I for the last several months. In your struggle, you’ve been abiding in Me, and what your heart is desiring and asking for is what I want for you. We’re in sync! You delight in Me! There’s no hidden agenda here. Isn’t that awesome when this happens? And what you receive from Me bears fruit in that you start doing what you love to do—what I love seeing you doing, which is talking about Me with others. Allowing others to see Me through you, despite your trial. This brings Me great joy! A couple days ago, you and an old friend met up for dinner and talked about Me pretty much the whole time. I loved it! And yesterday?…You saw a stranger walking by wearing a vest with a patch that said, “Property of Jesus.” What did you do? You got his attention, fist-bumped him, and called him a brother-in-Christ. He said “It’s all about His blood.” And you responded, “Yes sir! I’ll see you in heaven one day.” And he said, “I definitely will.” That brief exchange brought Me so much joy—seeing two of My children talk about Me! And you will see him again one day. Keep abiding in Me, My child, and what you love doing will naturally come out. Your trial is your trial. It’s going to continue to be a challenge. Despite this, keep abiding in Me. Keep asking Me. And you will continue to bear joyous fruit for Me! I love you!
